Committees

The Bundeskanzler-Helmut-Schmidt-Stiftung is overseen by a Board of Trustees. It is made up of six members plus six deputies appointed for five years by the Federal President. These representatives of politics and society were associated with Helmut Schmidt in various ways during his lifetime. The International Advisory Board advises the Board of Trustees and the Executive Board of the Bundeskanzler-Helmut-Schmidt-Stiftung on the fulfilment of the foundation's purpose.
