Locations of the Federal Chancellor Helmut Schmidt Foundation

The foundation’s headquarters, with its offices and exhibition rooms, are at 10 Kattrepel in central Hamburg, not far from the main railway station. Also in Hamburg are the Helmut Schmidt Archives in the Schmidt family’s former home at 80-84 Neubergerweg in Hamburg’s Langenhorn district. In addition, the private rooms will be converted into a museum where in future guided tours will be available to those interested.

At the Schmidt family’s former address in Neubergerweg in Langenhorn, Hamburg are the Schmidts’ home and the Helmut Schmidt Archives (see photo). The private rooms can be explored on a virtual tour. In addition, there are plans to hold small events in the house. The Helmut Schmidt Archives are available for academic research.
