Organisation
The Bundeskanzler-Helmut-Schmidt-Stiftung is overseen by a board of trustees. It is made up of six members plus six deputies appointed for five years by the Federal President. These representatives of politics and society were associated with Helmut Schmidt in various ways during his lifetime.
The foundation’s day-to-day business is run by a board made up of two honorary members and a chief executive.
